What & Why of Krip Shaft: Leroy F. Moore continues to make powerful Black disabled image and songs. His recent Krip remake is Isaac Hayes 1971 blaxploitation film/song Shaft is aimed to empower Black disabled people. Early 1970’s was empowerment of Black experience especially in music by Black men from Isaac Hayes to Curtis Mayfield, James Brown and on the big screen with movies like Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss, Shaft and Superfly that also had powerful Black women like the 1974 movie Foxy Brown with Pam Gier to today’s powerful Luke Cage where he has a disability and his partner’s injury but comes back with a bionic arm.

There are many sides of the 1970’s blaxploitation films with their soundtrack songs era but the one side that Leroy is concentrating on is Black empowerment through lyrics and image with a 2025 Krip-Hop politics. A Black disabled Shaft is suppose to be a symbol of empowerment for Black disabled males that you don’t hear or see often in today’s song lyrics and in music videos.

Leroy has a long history of writing and remaking songs to empower Black disabled men like when the late Rob DA Noize Temple teamed up with Leroy to remake aka Krip out Curtis Mayfield’s 1971 hit, Beautiful Brother Of Mine it was a message to Black disabled men to keep their head up, then Leroy once again teamed up with Rob to put out Man To Man Talk, Black Disabled Man and also Leroy Krip aka remade Josh White Sr. 1960 song, The Blind Man Stood On The Road & Cried. By kripping Isaac Hayes’ Shaft Leroy puts not only Black disabled men in an empowering role but also makes the Black community and Black women a home that Krip Shaft is protecting and a place where he is powerful.

Who’s the the black public krip

that’s a forbidden sex machine to all the chicks

You damn skippy

Who is the Krip that runs with a limp to save his brother Krip?

You dig it

Who’s the Black super Krip that pulls up when people are shouting

Wheel on Wheel on Wheel on cause this is only the beginning

They say this cat Krip Shaft is a bad mother..

Flatten your tires

With a Krip-Hop Soul beat

To take you off your feet

R.I.P. Isaac Hayes

Communicating on Fanbase

I’m talking about Krip Shaft

Then pop a wheelie

He is the invisible man

No one can see him but his women

That forbidden sex machine

Women swinging on the taboo

Krip Shaft can’t loose

He makes you forget about your blues

City to city wheelin in his scooter

With his women coming together

One more time

In a Krip-Hop Soul rhyme

Like wine

He is so fine

Who’s the the black public krip

that’s forbidden sex machine to all the chicks

You damn skippy

Who is the Krip that runs with a limp to save his brother Krip?

You dig it

Who’s the Black super Krip that pulls up when people are shouting

Wheel on Wheel on Wheel on cause this is only the beginning

They say this cat Krip Shaft is a bad mother..

Flatten your tires

With a Krip-Hop Soul beat

To take you off your feet

He is the invisible man

But no one can see him but his women

With his women coming together

Flatten your tires

I’m talkin’ ’bout Krip Shaft

(Then we can pop a wheelie)

[Outro]

He is a the invisible man

But no one can see him but his women

Brother to brother sister to sister hand in hand

Krip Shaft you understand
